Pilates method is a form of exercise, developed by Joseph Pilates, which emphasises the balanced development of the body through core strength, flexibility, and awareness in order to support efficient, graceful movement. The principles can and should be applied to everyday life.
At Bodycare Essentials, Maria uses a modern interpretation of the method that can be applied safely to a wide range of people from post-trauma rehabilitation to fitness for the ordinary body to fine-tuning of elite athletes.
